Survival Skills Basics<\/h3><\/div>

Survival Skills Basics is an intensive introduction to the fundamentals of wilderness survival, completed in just a couple of hours. The course provides practical skills to help you stay safe in nature.
During the course, you will learn how to: <\/span>use a knife safely and effectively, <\/span>build an emergency shelter, start a fire in different conditions, assemble a functional survival kit, use the natural mateerials for basic survival needs.<\/p>\n

This is a easy access course suitable for almost everyone and an excellent first introduction to survival skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Natural edibles and campfire cooking<\/span><\/h3><\/div>

On Polku\u2019s guided wild food excursion, you\u2019ll explore edible plants found in the local environment and learn how to use them.
During the campfire cooking session, you\u2019ll prepare food yourself using simple equipment over an open fire \u2013 or in case of a wildfire warning \u2013 with camping stoves. Ingredients are foraged from the surrounding area depending on the season and location, and complemented with high-quality staple ingredients.

Abseiling<\/span><\/h3><\/div>

Abseiling offers a great opportunity to experience the thrill of heights and the satisfaction of overcoming yourself. Participants control their own descent, while an instructor ensures safety at all times with a secondary rope system.
