Cancellation Policy

A booked one-day activity can be cancelled free of charge one week before the event date. If the cancellation is made less than one week before the event, 50% of the price will be charged. A longer activity such as a course or a trek can be cancelled free of charge two weeks before the activity. Cancellations made on the same day as the event will be charged in full (100%).
In the case of tailored services, any costs incurred from preparatory purchases will also be charged in addition to the cancellation fee.

Weather Conditions and Activities

Most of our services take place outdoors, in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately for the conditions. As a rule, activities are not cancelled in advance due to weather forecasts. The exception is rock climbing, which is only possible in dry conditions. Very strong winds, heavy rain, or thunderstorms may affect activities such as abseiling. In such cases, the decision to cancel or reschedule will be made on site. On longer treks and survival courses we might need to alter the route and schedule according to weather. If you are unsure about the weather on the day of the activity, please contact us in advance.

Insurance

Polku Nature Tours holds general liability insurance for its operations, but it does not cover participants during activities. Please ensure that you have appropriate personal insurance coverage.
